Frank Russell Green
Frank Russell Green was born in Chicago in 1856. In Paris, he studied at the Académie Julian with Gustave Boulanger and Jules Joseph Lefebvre. At various points in his life, he lived in New York City and Boston. Green belonged to the American Watercolor Society, the New York Watercolor Club, the Salmagundi Club, the Lotos Club, and was an associate member of the National Academy of Design. His work was exhibited at The Art Insitute of Chicago, The Boston Art Club, the National Academy of Design, and the Paris Salon.
