Constantin Terechkovitch


Constantin Terechkovitch, born near Moscow in 1902, moved to Paris in 1920 to study at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière. He settled in Montparnasse, where he became part of a vibrant community of artists, befriending figures like Moise Kisling and Andre Lanskoy. He was a prominent member of the colorist group La Réalité Poétique, alongside artists such as Maurice Brianchon and Jules Cavaillès. Known for his love of sport and high living, he uniquely maintained his own racing stable among the Montparnasse artists.
